A MESSAGE OF APPRECIATION AND APPEAL By Lawal Bello Director General, Education Information Society of Nigeria (EISN) The new policy of publishing the names of scholarship beneficiaries has created two great opportunities for the Education Information Society of Nigeria (EISN). First, it will strengthen our student membership across institutions. Second, it will deepen our partnerships with higher institutions by reinforcing the values of transparency, accountability, and integrity. We sincerely appreciate the Association of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian Universities for their continued commitment to education. Without their support and dedication to academic excellence, EISN might not have reached its present level of impact. Today, we respectfully appeal for greater collaboration, exceptional support, and financial assistance for less-privileged students. Education should never be politicized. Every deserving student, regardless of background, should have access to quality education and an opportunity to succeed. Our journey has been sustained through transparency, integrity, and the little support we have received from our partners and consultant network. We believe that together, we can achieve even greater results. To all our Vice Chancellors and educational leaders, you are the fathers and mothers of education in Nigeria. You have helped many sons and daughters of nobody become somebody through the power of education. We humbly ask you to continue extending that opportunity to more deserving students. Please look at our track record. Our mission has never been driven by politics but by genuine service to education and humanity. We believe that education gives lasting returns, and every investment in a deserving student is an investment in Nigeria's future.
