LETTER OF APPRECIATION FOR THE FOUR-YEAR SCHOLARSHIP AWARD 8 September 2026 We write to express our profound gratitude to the Ibiyemi Educational Foundation for awarding a comprehensive four-year scholarship to Shobiye Oluwanifemi Precious, who secured admission into the Department of English at Lagos State University (LASU). The scholarship presentation ceremony took place yesterday, 7 September 2026, at the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, Lagos State University. The scholarship covers the beneficiary’s: - School fees throughout the four-year programme; - Hostel accommodation for four years; - Textbooks; and - Other necessary educational support. This generous intervention will give the beneficiary the opportunity to pursue her education with renewed confidence and hope. It is a remarkable demonstration of compassion and commitment to the educational development of less-privileged students. We sincerely appreciate the Ibiyemi Educational Foundation, the LASU management and everyone who contributed to the success of the ceremony. We respectfully appeal to our Commissioner for Education, respected royal fathers, philanthropists and other well-meaning individuals to emulate this commendable gesture by supporting more deserving students.
